Navajivana Higher Secondary school Perdala is a prestigious educational institution established in 1944 by the Perdala educational society, Badiadka, under the able leadership of veteran educationalist as well as a social worker Dr.P.S.Sasthri.It is one of the oldest schools in Kerala. More than 1750 pupils are studying in Kannada, Malayalam and English mediums from fifth to tenth standard.The govt. Of Kerala upgraded this institution into a higher secondary school in 2010.

The well-known kannada poet and the national award winner for the best teacher Dr.Kayyar Kinhanna Rai and the veteran head master and state award winner for the best teacher Sri Navakkana Shankara narayana Bhat are the two milestones in the history of our school.

Sri Shankaranarayana Bhat has been working as the Head Master since 2012.He is also the winner of the prestigious CCRT national award 1991 for his outstanding performance in co-curricular activities.In Sept. 2014 he bagged the state best teacher award & in sept 2015  he bagged the National Award for the Best Teacher!!!

Our school consists of 64 class rooms, 4 computer labs along with a multimedia room equipped with LCD projectors, well furnished library with TV, science lab and vast play ground situated in a very spacious school campus having an extent of more than 14 acres.

We are led by the perdala educational society under the leadership of Sri Adv.I.V Bhat,eminent lawyer of Kasaragod and the DR.Soorya .N.Sasthri,manager NHSS Perdala. The school celebrated its Golden jubilee in 1994 and now stepping into the 71st anniversary.
